The Dagger GTX 8.1 is a classic riverrunner with an old design. Since the first generation of 2002, the GTX has undergone a complete change in shape towards the GTX 8.1. So this new generation has become more streamlined and shorter.
The bow and stern of the boat have enough volume to safely navigate even heavier white water. With soft edges and a flat bottom, it is excellent for surfs, spins and lots of manoeuvres. Agile, fast and precise, the GTX can be maneuvered through the white water, loops in and out of eddies almost by itself and therefore offers a lot of fun potential not only for experienced river players. The rocker in the bow is sufficient to skip smaller rollers.
With the end of the product line, the Dagger GT 7.8 is only available in the most basic Club configuration. The padded backrest can only be adjusted very rudimentarily via two buckles on the back. Foam wedges replaced the usual plastic parts in the bow and stern. The seat is reduced to an ergonomically shaped plastic shell. But of course this boat can also be refitted into a full-fledged whitewater kayak in the old school way. Write to us for special Dagger spare and fitting parts!
The boat is also in the smaller version than GTX 7.8 club .
