The Lettmann Ergonom Pro Tour Light is a touring paddle with wide blades, which is designed for high paddling technique. In the version with the Vario division, it can be easily stowed away and transported. The blade is made of the LCS 70 composite with a foam core. Due to the profiling of the blade on the inside, a negative pressure is created there. This hydrodynamic lift generates additional propulsion in the train and reduces blade flutter.
The combination of carbon, glass and aramid fibers ensure high stability with a slight flex in the paddle. The term light refers to the number of layers on top of each other. This is how the paddle achieves a phenomenal light weight of only 870-890 grams! A surrounding aramid edge prevents the individual layers from splitting.
The ergonomic shaft developed by Lettmann ensures relaxed paddling even on long tours. The automatic stabilization of the paddle blades by the pressure point in front of the pulling hand and the reduced twisting of the wrist to the shaft result in a flap-free pull through of the paddle blade. This reduces the holding power and there is less wear and tear on the ligaments and joints.
The Vario 26 division Touring of the Lettmann Ergonom Pro Sea Light consists of an aluminum clamping ring with a quick release. This allows the paddle to be lengthened in any number of degrees and for test purposes up to 10 cm. For standard use, an extension of only up to 6 cm is recommended.
This is for maximum stability, less weight and of course cheaper Lettmann Ergonom Pro Tour Light Also available as a one-piece touring paddle.
We recommend this for use in exclusively flat paddling technique Lettmann Ergonom Pro Sea Light
