With the Nitro Extreme, Lettmann is launching its heavily reinforced version of its paddle with protruding blades.
The blade is offset to the front in relation to the shaft. The pressure point on the hand is also shifted forward and the paddle has a longer pull path. The smooth back of the blade avoids turbulence when pulling the paddle. Water flows past the profiled paddle blade on the inside more easily and thus creates a negative pressure in the water, which makes it easier to pull the blade through the current. Pressure builds up evenly on the blade, allowing for more controlled movement in the water. In this way you create a strong, flutter-free pull.
The combination of carbon, glass and aramid fibers give the paddle a good balance of stiffness and flex. Many layers of the composite material on top of each other ensure that the Lettmann Nitro Extreme is more stable than regular nitro paddles. In the event of stone contact, the blade is additionally protected with a surrounding aramid edge. Thanks to the foam core, the paddle has high flexural rigidity. The steering maneuvers are even more effective with this paddle and the propulsion will immediately convince you of the Lettmann Nitro.
The paddle is also available in the light racing version as Nitro Light and regular as Nitro available.
The Nitro Extreme is also available as a 2-piece paddle with an adjustable 26 Vario pitch .
