The Adventure Double EVO by Peak PS is a high-tech dry jacket for use in sea kayaking and touring kayaking.
When manufacturing this jacket, particular attention was paid to the ecological footprint. The top layer is made from 100% recycled yarn. The water-repellent coating does not use chlorofluorinated hydrocarbons. The stretchy neoprene cuffs on the hands and stomach are made of Bioprene™ - a material made from recycled yarn and waste from shrimp fisheries. The zippers are made from recycled plastic from PET bottles. The seams in the inner and outer layers have also been reduced for longer durability and better tightness.
The jacket consists of a 4-layer membrane with sealed seams. The arms are fitted with latex cuffs protected by a sealable Bioprene™ neoprene cuff. The fit of the latex cuffs has been adjusted with the new design and the sleeve width at the transition to the latex cuff changes with the size of the jacket. The belly ends with a double chimney, with the inner chimney fitting snugly to the body thanks to an elastic band. The outer chimney keeps the spray deck securely in place with a lockable neoprene collar made from Bioprene™.
The neck seal is made of Bioprene™ and can be sealed with a Velcro fastener. The outer collar of the paddling jacket is lined with fleece and can be zipped open in sunny weather. There is space for a hood in the collar for rainy days. Pockets with zips are attached to both arms, which can also be opened with a life jacket.
The Peak PS Adventure EVO is also included simple fireplace in the colors blue and red.
