Prijon PriLite Marlin LV sea kayak

The Prijon PriLite Marlin LV is the small version of the Marlin sea kayaks. Because it is made from PriLite, the boat is relatively light. With the small width and the great length, this boat makes an excellent sea kayak. With a length of more than 5 m and additional edges, the Marlin is rightly considered a very fast boat - even with a decent load. The cut-outs on the sides mean that smaller paddlers can also drive the boat without any problems, as they do not bump into the deck with their hands.

In the watertight luggage hatches in front of and behind the cockpit, sleeping bags, tents and stoves can easily be accommodated. Important items such as a cell phone or camera can be stored in the day hatch directly in front of your feet. A paddle support can be set up with the rubber cord behind the cockpit in an emergency. So you can get back into the boat independently after capsizing.

The padded seat can be adjusted to the most comfortable back position using a cable with a clamp - this guarantees comfort even on long expedition trips. If necessary, the Marlin can also be equipped with a tax retrofit.

Prijon's own PriLite material consists of a composite of ABS polymer material with a Plexiglas coating (PMMA). This makes the kayak significantly stiffer and lighter than boats made of polyethylene or Prijon's own HTP. The material is also more robust than glass or carbon fiber laminate boats, while the boat is only 2kg heavier than the GRP model. However, the PriLite is not suitable for white water or frequent contact with stones!
