The Sweet Knee Guards are knee pads for SUP or open Canadians. Originally from the mountain bike and downhill sectors, Sweet has also optimized these protectors for use in canoeing.
The knee pads are made of perforated neoprene from which water can drain quickly. The Sweet Knee Guards are slipped over the legs onto the thighs and can be worn under paddling clothing.
The combination of stretch and neoprene material ensures a perfect fit. A flexible rubber band with a rubberized inside keeps the protectors in position. The knees are protected with a shock-absorbing pad made of dimensionally stable foam. This is designed for multiple impacts and can therefore continue to be used after contact with a stone. The outside of the upholstery is also covered with aramid fabric.
