Greece has long been Toros Outdoors' travel destination - what could be better than taking a look across the border? We take you to the most beautiful canyons in Albania and Northern Greece, some call them the most beautiful canyons in Europe. So it's a road trip from Albania's capital Tirana to the Osum, which cuts through a narrow valley to the Vjosa (Aoos). Also on the way south there is the Bence and perhaps even the mystical Lengarice Gorge. In Greece we continue on Venetikos and Voidomatis to Plaka, where we end the journey at Arachthos and Kalaritikos.

Requirements:
- Independent navigation of streams in white water II-III
- Driving knowledge of boat type: whitewater kayak, whitewater C1 (open/closed) or packraft
- Knowledge of safe behavior when swimming in whitewater
- Knowledge of the use of throw bags and safety equipment
- Generally good physical condition
- Stamina for sailing up to 20 km of white water every day
Services:
- Organization of 9 travel days (including 1 break day) to the wild rivers of southern Albania and northern Greece.
- Guiding with one or (depending on the size of the group) several canoe instructors, technical training if desired.
- We help with booking flights and take care of airport transfers from Tirana Airport as well as the return flight to Thessaloniki or Preveza.
- Arranging logistics, sometimes with local drivers and four-wheel drive vehicles.
- Self-drivers can take part in the tour in their own camper van.

Accommodation:
We spend the night in wild camps right on the river (Venetikos), on simple campsites (Vjosa, Arachthos) or in guesthouses. In Greece this is a well-known camp among paddlers Via Natura. During the last week, you can alternatively stay overnight in Hotel Teloneio possible. A night with breakfast costs around € 30 to € 40 per person. A dinner in the restaurant costs around 15 euros.
Toros Outdoors only puts you in contact with local drivers and accommodation. The camp participants settle these services directly with the local entrepreneurs.
Cost:
- The price includes guiding, canoe training, tour organization
- Kayaks and paddles can be borrowed from us for a fee
- There are additional costs for: Arrival, logistics on site, accommodation, meals
- The costs for logistics will be passed on to the participants. Air travelers should expect an additional €35 per day.
Important:
Weather and water conditions may require changes to the route and the choice of river at the Albania-Greece camp at short notice. Although May is mostly sunny in Greece, individual rainy days are possible. In addition, the water levels are heavily dependent on the snow conditions. Thus, individual stages may not be feasible due to too little or too much water. In any case, high-quality alternatives are provided.
