Werner Shuna Carbon Touring Paddle

459,00

First class and extremely light touring paddle with carbon blades and foam core. Thanks to the division, it can be adjusted to different angles and is easy to transport in the car. The medium-sized paddle blades are optimized for high paddling technique. The carbon shaft combines minimum weight with maximum rigidity.

The Werner Shuna Carbon is an extremely light touring paddle with small blades for high paddling technique. The blade is made of carbon with a central foam core rib. This stiffens the blade considerably and allows for a smooth, flutter-free stroke – even with a strong paddling arm. The two sides of the leaf to the right and left of the foam rib are oriented in a V shape. With this technology from aircraft construction, the blade stabilizes itself along the axis of the shaft. Using carbon makes the paddle around 100g lighter than that Fiberglass Shuna.

The carbon shaft is the best combination of maximum stiffness with the lowest weight. This allows you to get the most out of the Shuna even on long paddling days without tiring your arms.

With the Smart View division, the cast of the paddle can be adjusted in 15° steps. A jagged inner shaft allows the paddle to be adjusted. The two paddle halves are fixed together with a spring-loaded push button. Of course, the paddle can also be disassembled into two parts - perfect for transport by car or train.

For an adjustment of the length there is that Shuna also with Vario division.

Since 1965 Werner has been building paddles for all applications in Washington on the US West Coast. The paddles are still manufactured and developed by hand. In the past decades, Werner Paddles has been able to score with the development of asymmetrically shaped paddle blades, a neutral ergo shaft, the Smart-View paddle division and dihedral paddle blades. The Powerhouse/Serpa and Surge/Strike series are probably the most popular laminate paddles worldwide. In production, Werner Paddles is committed to material and energy-efficient processes. Werner Paddles supports organizations protecting rivers, drinking water and coastal areas in the USA.
