The Werner Strike Ergo is a whitewater paddle with laminated blades and an Ergo shaft. The paddle is identical to the Werner Surge, but has smaller paddle blades. With the upstream sheet, even more train can be brought to the sheet. The fiberglass laminate with the central foam core rib ensures a very stiff blade. The two sides of the leaf to the right and left of the foam rib are oriented in a V-shape. With this technology from aircraft construction, the blade is stabilized along the axis of the shaft. This allows the blade to be pulled without fluttering - even with a strong paddling arm. Werner's fiberglass blade is known for its resistance to buckling and breaking, but wears out evenly when it comes into contact with stones.
The Ergo shaft made of carbon provides the perfect combination of a long-term gentle paddle position with moderate weight and high rigidity. Due to the bend in the shaft, the grip position is perpendicular to the direction of pull. This keeps the paddle held horizontally in the optimal pulling position, even with a slightly open hand. The wrists do not have to be uncomfortably overstretched laterally. As an adaptation to the open hand, Werner does not build the grip areas in the usual oval shape, but instead in a drop shape. The Ergo stock noticeably reduces the strain on muscles, tendons and ligaments.
Particularly popular with many paddlers, the Ergo shaft is also available with a narrow diameter.
Of course, the Werner Strike is also available with a classic straight shaft.

Details
- The blade is positioned high in relation to the shaft, allowing for a strong, steep paddle pull
- Design allows all standard paddle strokes
- High breaking strength due to impact-resistant glass fiber composite (GRP)
- Optimized Flex and Strength - Engineered to relieve stress on the body without sacrificing traction
- Carbon Neutral-Bent shaft available in standard or small diameter
- The V-shape of the blade surfaces allows for smooth and stable forward paddling, a core philosophy of Werner
- The specially shaped, flat and reinforced guide rib allows for improved maneuverability of the blade and ensures high blade stiffness and overall strength
- The medium-sized blades are ideal for paddlers and paddlers
- High visibility fiberglass laminate sheet
- Cast from 0-90ยฐ for right-hand steering or left-hand steering, possible in 5-degree increments. R45 is the most popular model for whitewater and R30 for play boating.
