Werner Strike Whitewater Paddle

359,00

Due to the medium-sized paddle blades, the Strike is ideal for women or smaller paddlers who want to enjoy the advantages of a blade that is upstream and powerful!

Delivery time: 5-7 days

The Werner Strike is a whitewater paddle with laminated blades. The paddle is identical to the Werner Surge, but has smaller paddle blades. With the upstream sheet, even more train can be brought to the sheet. The fiberglass laminate with the central foam core rib ensures a very stiff blade. The two sides of the leaf to the right and left of the foam rib are oriented in a V-shape. With this technology from aircraft construction, the blade is stabilized along the axis of the shaft. This allows the blade to be pulled without fluttering - even with a strong paddling arm. Werner's fiberglass blade is known for its resistance to buckling and breaking, but wears out evenly when it comes into contact with stones.

The fiberglass shaft combines low weight with light flex. In the event of stone contact, the shaft cushions part of the blow to the wrists. The Werner Strike is also available with a narrow shaft. Particularly popular with many paddlers.

On request, the Werner Strike is also available with an ergo shaft made of carbon

Since 1965 Werner has been building paddles for all applications in Washington on the US West Coast. The paddles are still manufactured and developed by hand. In the past decades, Werner Paddles has been able to score with the development of asymmetrically shaped paddle blades, a neutral ergo shaft, the Smart-View paddle division and dihedral paddle blades. The Powerhouse/Serpa and Surge/Strike series are probably the most popular laminate paddles worldwide. In production, Werner Paddles is committed to material and energy-efficient processes. Werner Paddles supports organizations protecting rivers, drinking water and coastal areas in the USA.
