The Mergner Bionic is a real classic. And rightly so! Powerful and precise, light and almost indestructible.
The high-end blades are now also available in combination with a shaft made of full carbon.
When Jochen Mergner described the performance of the new stock in the highest tones, we thought: wait and see! The motto is to test yourself. And that's exactly what we advise you to do. Compare the different blade and shaft variants and get an idea for yourself. Just one thing in advance: Jochen did not promise too much.
The blades are identical to the Mergner Bionic High End. They are made of carbon fiber reinforced polyamide (PAC) and come with a large turtle sticker. The shaft is made of pure carbon fiber resin composite. Woven carbon fibers are used on the inside, while unidirectional carbon fibers (UD carbon) are used on the outside. The fibers on the outside are arranged parallel to the shaft and ensure increased longitudinal rigidity. Compared to the classic carbon weave, the ground UD carbon also feels smoother.
The paddle is also as Bionic high-end Available with fiberglass-carbon shaft and as Bionic Easy with fiberglass-reinforced polyamide blades.
You can find Mergner's bionic paddles in our test Center.
