Palm Bora men's drysuit

850,00

Sea kayak and touring drysuit for extreme conditions! With a hood, latex cuffs on the arms and inner fleece, even the coldest storm won't stand in the way!

Delivery time: 7-10 days

The Palm Bora is a men's drysuit optimized for sea kayaking and touring. The suit is made of a durable, four-layer XP 4 fabric with excellent waterproofing. You can easily get into the drysuit via a waterproof zipper on the back.

Seams were deliberately omitted on the gray leg area in order to increase durability and tightness. Like the rest of the suit, the booties are made of XP 4 material and reinforced with nylon. A neoprene waistband towards the hips holds the trouser legs of the suit up. Thanks to a small zipper at the front, the suit doesn't have to be taken off to pee. The spray skirt is always in the right place thanks to a double chimney with a neoprene collar and Velcro fasteners.

Latex cuffs on the hands complete the drysuit. To protect against UV radiation, they are covered with long sleeves. These are extended towards the back of the hand and thus protect against cool winds. The sleeves can also be easily adjusted to the size of the wrist using Velcro fasteners. Two zippers on the stomach create a large hand warmer pocket that is lined with fleece on the inside.

The hood offers excellent protection even in stormy weather and can also be worn with a helmet. The size of the hood can be easily adjusted using an elastic band. On the inside of the neck there is a fleece-coated collar with a zipper and ventilation holes. A GlideSkin neoprene cuff seals the suit around the neck. The inner coating ensures that the drysuit is easier to put on and take off. The UltraStretch cuffs also don't press as hard and are therefore more comfortable to wear.

The Palm Bora is also available for women with a toilet zipper on the back.

1979: the Somerset coast. In a small shed with a leaking tin roof stood a hard-working figure covered in a fine layer of fiberglass dust. It was Andy Knight, a man who wanted better equipment for paddling and decided to make it himself. The sign on the door said 'Palm Glass Fiber Moldings Ltd'. Just a few steps from the shed, Andy can still be found working on something new. The shed is a little bigger now, and there are a lot more characters toiling away, but Andy and the team at Palm still work with the same determination and goal: making gear for paddlers. Palm Equipment International Ltd. is based in Somerset, England. From here we supply clothing brand Palm, kayaks from Dagger, Islander and Wilderness Systems and canoes from Mad River Canoe - everything you need to take to the water. Do you need a Palm Equipment product that we don't have in the online catalogue? Get in touch! We can organize many products on request!
