The WRSI S-Turn are elbow protectors for use on narrow and rocky creeks. Named after the famous drop on the Alseseca, Mexico, these protectors are a good option for preventing injuries from contact with stones.

The elbow protectors are made of 3 mm thick perforated neoprene, which provides the necessary padding and cushioning. The holes ensure that water can drain away quickly. As with kayak helmets, an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) plastic outer shell provides protection against point loads caused by sharp stones.

With mesh sleeves, the protectors can be put on comfortably. The WRSI S-Turn elbow pads are pulled over the paddling jacket and secured with three Velcro straps. By dividing it into individual sections, full freedom of movement is guaranteed.
