The Spark 370 from Zelgear offers innovative airboat design for touring and light whitewater. The kayak is made from a mix of drop-stitch and flexible PVC bodies. The boat hull and the side tubes are made of PVC fabric. A drop-stitch floor stiffens the kayak and stretches the PVC floor between the two side tubes. The drop-stitch floor pulls the bow and stern upwards. This rocker tensions the kayak's longitudinal axis and allows it to slide more easily over waves and rollers. The stems also serve as a keel and thus ensure good straight running. A skeg (not included) can also be mounted at the rear.
The Zelgear Spark 370 comes with an inflatable seat, but can also be equipped with an additional seat. The seats are each clamped into the boat using 3 fittings. If the kayak is driven alone, knee straps and a footrest can also be attached. Together with the solid bottom, the kayak can be edged up and driven like a PE kayak. Precise maneuvers in the current and even trips in white water are no problem!
The Spark 370 comes in a practical carrying backpack together with an air pump with a matching bayonet adapter and a repair kit. When inflating, pressure relief valves on the side hoses prevent damage to the boat. To do this, the pressure relief valves must be opened! For livelier trips, the kayak can also be retrofitted with a canopy.
