Play The River WW III-IV

Be careful, it will be wet! Our Play the River courses offer you a safe introduction to the basics of so-called down river freestyle. Here you will not only learn stylish tricks, but also gain a completely new perspective on all types of currents and other features found in whitewater. Our focus here is no longer on avoidance and making traffic as clean as possible, but rather on recognizing opportunities and making them usable for ourselves in different ways. Boat control, water reading, theory and physical training: This is by no means just about “playing around”, but rather about the first steps towards a more active, athletic style of driving, which you need for your way to becoming truly advanced in the most beautiful sport in the world!

You can rent all equipment, including a suitable boat, from us for a fee and have it brought to the course location.

Accommodation and catering

Depending on the location, we recommend and reserve a suitable campsite, which usually also houses the canoe instructors. Of course, you are always free to take advantage of other accommodation offers instead.
The food is also up to you. Whether you go for cereal or breakfast in the morning, whether you cook together in the evening or whether you indulge in a dignified gluttony in the restaurant, you decide spontaneously on the spot.

Other important information

You should generally be in a physical condition that allows you to sit in the boat, stay outdoors for several hours, and move around and in the water.
Please inform us about any restrictions when registering!

Every booking should be preceded by a telephone call with us if we do not already know you from the course operations.

We ask for your understanding that the course location and thus possibly also the accommodation can change spontaneously in an emergency if weather and/or water levels at the regular location make it impossible for a course to take place.

In principle, we can only hold each course with enough participants. In individual cases, this can only be clarified a few weeks before the course date. Your registration, and thus the safe completion of the course, is only binding for both parties once the invoice has been issued. Completing the digital registration on the website does not constitute a binding obligation.

We would like to point out that cancellation after a firm booking (invoicing) is at the expense of the purchaser and we therefore recommend travel cancellation insurance. You can do this in detail in our AGB’s ...
