Since 1965 Werner has been building paddles for all applications in Washington on the US West Coast. The paddles are still manufactured and developed by hand.

In the past decades, Werner Paddles has been able to score with the development of asymmetrically shaped paddle blades, a neutral ergo shaft, the Smart-View paddle division and dihedral paddle blades.

The Powerhouse/Serpa and Surge/Strike series are probably the most popular laminate paddles worldwide.
