He updates individual descriptions and river accesses. The second volume also describes the rivers in Turkey, especially in the Taurus Mountains near Antalya.

If you are traveling to Greece for the first time to paddle, you cannot avoid volume I. The classics are described in detail there.

Even after 20 years, the Greco guidebooks by Franz Bettinger are the unmatched tool for Greece kayak travelers.

Book 1 basically contains all relevant kayak rivers in the Pindos Mountains and Peloponnesus. Book 2 describes other, lesser known rivers in Greece and adds sections to the classical kayak rivers. Also there are rivers in Eastern Greece Rhodope Mountains and in Southern Turkey. Descriptions are in German and English.
